Industrial Zones in the Occupied Palestinian Territory: True Development or Enhancement of Economic Dependency. 

 “The Organizational Realities of the Palestinian Prisoners Movement: a comparative study (1988-2004)”, A research grant from Muwatin, the Palestinian Institute for the Study of Democracy.  Published, January 2006.

"Needs Assessment for Palestinian Children Released from Prison".  The research was supported by Defense for Children International, DCI.  Published.

 “Health Violations against Prisoners”.  The research was supported by the Union of Health Work Committees, UHWC.  Published.

"Administrative Detention and Its Psychological Effects".  The research was supported by PANORAMA.  Published.


Iyad Riyahi (1974) is a graduate from Birzeit University and a social activist. He works as a co-founder researcher of Social and Economic Policies Monitor (al Marsad). Before that, he worked in different Palestinian NGOs in Ramallah and published researches in various development fields; the latest was with Birzeit University about flooding the West Bank with debts, and the published book” The Illusion of Development”. Along with Social Protection field and conducting different reports including (“Two Years after Reform and Development”, “Poor People Pay the Price”, along with reports about aids provided to Palestinians and building industrial zones in West Bank).
